  Tufty on Westward Ho! beach.  Video's are on You Tube or follow us on Facebook  -  link to be added but until then find us under Alison Talbot and look for the logo of Tufty rearing :}

 Or follow the stories of all our ponies on www.poniesdevon.co.uk  We have everything from a stroppy young American TB mare to a talented Dartmoor Hill Pony (above).  Seven stories in all, some horses/ponies are broken, one is willd, one is being broken in, another maybe in foal..... they're all different.

Take a look at these beautiful illustrations by a very talented Cumbrian artist called David Pooley.

 Is there anybody in Dorset, or maybe a couple of friends, who would like to run poniesdorset for me?  As you can see it's all set up but I need somebody local to advertise in equine outlets/word of mouth/at events etc to get this site bigger and add more adverts.  This can really only be done by somebody(s) in the area.  Poniesdevon atttract between 3-4000 views per month and I'm sure this is due to the amount of content on that sites pages.  There's no reason why poniesdorset cant be the same with just a little effort.  Even updating the calendar page would be a huge help.  If you are interested and would like an interesting part-time hobby where you will make lots of new friends (and get freebies!) then email me alison@poniesdorset.co.uk

 come on folks, pass the word about and lets get this site bigger.

Don't lose it, use it.

Are there any Bowen/Reiki etc therapists out there who would like to be

included on our new page entitled Equine Therapists?  If so, email me your

business card or a link and I will include it on both poniesdorset and poniesdevon.

DO YOU LIKE PONY STORIES

This is out of date as of 12th June 2010 and will be updated asap.  We have MORE pony stories.

We have pages on our mother site dedicated to ponies, one adorable filly foal and a stunning American tb mare.  One continually gets up to mischief (big time) and his name is Rufty Tufty

 Rufty Tufty is our mascot/logo and has just turned 4yrs old this May.

He's always up to no good and picks on me in particular.  He may only be 10.2hh but he keeps me on my toes because he likes to throw me in the mud!  He is showing a talent in the jumping field and loose jumps 2'9" with ease.  This is with Tufty completely free - no lunge line, whips, totall free to run out or refuse if he wants.  All we use is encouragement and occasionally a bucket of feed.  He normally just follows us over. We'll be taking him to a few shows this year in the hope that he has grown up a bit and will behave......

Gin & Tonic (aka Ginty)   is our other very much loved coloured mare who had her first foal on May 9th, a stunning little filly. Photo's of the foal are on www.poniesdevon.co.uk    We have owned her for several years and she is fab at jumping.  She can get a little carried away when she sees the jumps but there's no harm in her, she's just very very keen and was even jumping the jumps set up in the field when she was 10 months in foal - again completely of her own volition.

Read what these two adorable cheeky ponies get up to at www.poniesdevon.co.uk and I'm sure you'll get hooked on the stories we share with you -  if you're an adult or child!

NEW BABY

And now we have Floras Frolics added to poniesdevon.  This is Gintys foal and she is completely mad but totally gorgeous.  She was born May 9th and stood 38" tall.  Wow, what legs!  Let's hope she jumps as well as Ginty.

PLUS We have Tula's Travels which is about our lovely American TB by AccessTravel and how she progresses over the years. She turned four on June 6th 2009 and is a beatiful bright chestnut with three white legs complete with ermine marks and a white blaze.  She has the most amazing temperament and we are so lucky to own her.
