About Us
Poniesdorset is the sister site of poniesdevon which was set up in late July 2008. It was purely meant to be a site for friends to log in and find useful information on ponies for sale, hay, shows etc but has grown incredibly in just under a year. The sites are run solely by myself, Alison, who is a mum of one and guardian of several (pets!). My daughter is the clever one on the computer and helps me out with the technical stuff when I get stuck.
We really enjoy out fun rides, horse shows, cross country etc and going for long rides when the weather allows. We own a gorgeous little black and white Dartmoor Hill Pony, that's him top left and also a tri-coloured mare who has produced a stunning tri-coloured fily on May 9th this year. Alison lives in Bideford, north Devon with her daughter and a menagerie of pets.
When you log into
www.poniesdevon.co.uk you will see that several of their pets appear on the site including guinea-pigs and I daresay the dogs will get in a few photographs at some point. We own a hairy German Shepherd and a Border Collie who looks a third of her age (she's 15 this year). There's also Pepper, a jet black moggy who has finally learnt road sense after having her jaw broken and wired when she was hit by a car a few years ago. We have guinea pigs too which Philippa has shown locally and P has created her own P's Piggy Page on our poniesdevon site,
